Brian and Georgina's Best Podcast Ever [300th Edition]
Sowerby and Luff celebrate their 300th podcast with a nostalgic look back over some of their favourite shows. Plus, a brand new edition of Dead Penguin featuring tantric podcasting, fear of vegetables, the great Vegemite scandal, and a dead horse in an art gallery. And, with the panto season just around the corner there's another tantalising extract from their 2009 Christmas single. This show will be Brian and Georgina's entry for the 2010 Sony Awards. Sowerby and Luff back up their files with Mozy.com.

Since I was a child I have had an irrational fear of balloons and rubber bands. As I have gotten older, these fears have gotten worse. I can't say that I have any idea as to where these fears stemmed from, but my bastard friends get a kick out of torturing me whenever they can. I avoid birthday parties, as you can imagine, and refuse to subscribe to any nespapers that are small enough to be bound with a rubber band. As a semi self-aware American, I know that I am utterly bonkers anyway, but a fear of things so mundane makes me wonder what is really going on in my head. I don't have a problem with guns or rice crispies, so loud noises or things that snap are not the problem. Maybe it is the realization that such small things when broken can startle and cause rapid heartbeat and a trace amount of fleeting pain. Right.
